The Echo Tree required a combination of specialized materials and skills, starting with aluminum frames for the branches and integrating electrical systems for 50 illuminated vines. Each vine contained an LED strip, connectors, and 3D-printed willow leaves. After testing all the wiring, we sculpted EPS foam to shape the trunk, concealing the connectors and ensuring proper proportions. Next came the epoxy phase, where we hard-coated the foam, adding texture and color.

Once the LED vines were installed and tested, we threaded 1,800 3D-printed willow leaves onto each one. On-site at Mission Ballroom, we managed all scenic elements and provided set dressing support during filming. Constructed with an aluminum tube skeleton and an epoxy and fiberglass skin, the tree breaks down into pieces and is transported on custom set carts.
